The Head of his media team during the elections, Chuwang Dung, confirmed his death through a telephone interview, to newsmen in Jos.
Dung however said an official statement would be issued by the late Mr. Pwajok’s family, to the general public later.
It was gathered that Pwajok died on Wednesday evening, October 28, 2015, in an Indian hospital, after battling a kidney related disease.

Pwajok had narrowly lost the 2015 election to Simon Lalong of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Pwajok, who was the immediate past senator for Plateau northern senatorial district, had succeeded late Senator Gyang Dantong, who died of shock while attending a mass burial of persons killed by insurgents in Barkinladi in 2012.
