Police Arrest Pastor’s Wife For Conniving With Husband To Rape Ogun Teenage Church Member

The Ogun State Police Command has arrested Pastor Peter Taiwo, who is in charge of Christ Apostolic Bible church, Alaja Oke, Saje, Abeokuta for defiling a 16-year-old choir member of his church.

The pastor’s wife, Elizabeth was also arrested for allegedly conniving with the suspect to rape the girl.

The Police Public Relations Officer in Ogun State, Abimbola Oyeyemi, who said this in a statement on Sunday stated that the girl alleged that the pastor’s wife asked her to go and meet her husband inside their room and locked the door from outside after that.

The PPRO said the two suspects were arrested on Friday following a complaint lodged by the victim at the Adatan Divisional headquarters.

Oyeyemi said the victim told the police that after she had gone inside the room, the pastor overpowered her and raped her. After this, she said while she was crying , the pastor’s wife came in and asked her to stop crying.

The PPRO further said, “She explained further that the pastor’s wife later came in after her husband had satisfied himself and met her crying and she told her to stop crying as she is now a woman, she then warned her never to tell anybody or else she will die.
