Police Interrogates Suspected Killers Of Kogi PDP Women Leader

The Kogi State Police Command on Monday said it has started interrogating six suspects arrested in connection with the killing of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Women Leader in the state, Salome Acheju.

Spokesman for the command, Deputy Superintendent of Police, William Aya disclosed this while speaking with newsmen in Lokoja.

He said the command had started interrogating the suspects to determine their level of culpability in the death of Salome.

According to Aya, the suspects which were brought in on Friday.

Recall that Salome who, was on Monday, November 18 gruesomely burnt alive in her home by suspected thugs was the women leader of Musa Wada/Aro campaign council, Ochadama ward.

Musa Wada was the governorship candidate of the PDP in the just concluded guber polls in the state.

President Muhammadu Buhari had on Sunday directed the police to arrest the killers of Salome with a view to bringing them to justice.
