Pope Asks Forgiveness For Men Who Visit Prostitutes

Pope Francis has pleaded for forgiveness on Monday for all Christian men who buy sex from women, describing them as criminals with a “sick mentality” that think women are in existence to be exploited.

The pope said, “This isn’t making love. This is torturing a woman. Let’s not confuse the terms.”

He explained that ‘’forced prostitution was born of a “sick mentality” that no form of feminism has managed to rid from society, one that thinks that “women are to be exploited.”

The Catholic Church head made the statement during a heart to heart four-hour listening session with 300 young people invited by the Vatican to Rome to inform church leaders about what the Catholic Church is all about.

Francis urged young people to take up the fight against trafficking and forced prostitution.

Pope Francis, who is the 266th and current Pope of the Catholic Church, has made the fight against human trafficking and modern-day sex slaves a priority since his resumption of office.
