Pope Francis Says Women Will Never Be Catholic Priests

The Priest made this known while speaking during a press conference on-board his papal plane, the Argentine.

He categorically stated that an apostolic letter written by Pope John Paul II in 1994, held that ordaining women was not possible because Jesus did not ordain women as apostles.

He, thereby, stated that the restriction on women becoming priests will not be lifted.

He said, “On the ordination of women in the Catholic Church, the Pope referred to an apostolic letter written by Pope John Paul II in 1994, which holds that ordaining women was not possible because Jesus chose only men as his apostles.

He said, “It was given by St. John Paul II, and this stands. “Forever, forever, never!

“If we read carefully the declaration by St John Paul II, it is going in that direction,” Pope Francis added.
