Presidential Campaign: Buhari Departs Abuja For Bayelsa, Rivers States

In continuation of his presidential campaign, President Muhammadu Buhari this morning departed Abuja for Bayelsa State ahead of the general elections on Saturday, February 16.

According to a video tweet by the Nigerian Television Authority, NTA said: “President Buhari leaves Abuja for APC Presidential campaign Rally in Bayelsa State”

The tweet further added that the president will thereafter visit Port Harcourt, Rivers State to lead the APC presidential campaign.

The president is expected to woo voters and people of the two states considered the strongholds of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

Bayelsa State is the home state of former president, Goodluck Jonathan, while Rivers State is home state of Governor Nyesom Wike.
