The presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Muhammadu Buhari, has defeated the People Democratic Party candidate, Atiku Abubakar in the presidential election that held in Niger state.
The incumbent president polled 612,371 votes to defeat Atiku who scored 218,052 votes.
