Prince Harry Leaves Royalty For Family In Canada

United Kingdom’s Prince Harry has arrived Canada to start a new life with his family, following his decision to officially back out from royal responsibilities at the Buckingham Palace.

Ha had said that his family desired to “step back as ‘senior’ members of the Royal Family and work to become financially independent, while continuing to fully support Her Majesty The Queen.”

Reuters reports that Harry was shown arriving on Vancouver Island by Sky News, just days after striking a deal with Queen Elizabeth and senior royals that will see him and his wife Meghan exit official roles to seek an independent future.

UK Palace had announced that Prince Harry and Meghan will no longer function with their royal titles and they will also not receive public funds for royal duties but would be allowed to live their normal lives.

Meanwhile, Meghan’s father, Thomas Wayne Markle Sr, had criticized the couple’s move.

“They are destroying it, they are cheapening it, making it shabby – they are turning it into a Walmart with a crown on it now,” he said.
