PSG’s Kylian Mbappe Wins Golden Boy Award Beating Ousmane Dembele, Gabriel Jesus

France and Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe has won the European Golden Boy award ahead Manchester City’s Gabriel Jesus, Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford, Borussia Dortmund’s Christian Pulisic and Barcelona’s Ousmane Dembele who were among players shortlisted.

18-year-old Mbappe helped Monaco to the Ligue 1 title and Champions League semifinals last season before joining PSG on an initial loan that is set to become a €180 million deal.

The French youngster has scored four goals in eight games since he made a summer loan move from PSG and became the highest-scoring teenager in the Champions League last week when he netted against Monaco.

The annual award is given to the best player under the age of 21 in Europe, by Italian newspaper Tuttosport. It is decided by a panel of 30 journalists and relates to performances across the calendar year.

The Striker, who already has eight international caps for France is expected to complete a £100m-plus move to the French giants at the end of the season.
