Some Nigerians are already reacting on Twitter to the rumoured resignation of vice president Yemi Osinbajo.
It will be recalled that earlier today reports on social media suggest that Osinbajo was allegedly barred from an emergency security meeting that President Muhammadu Buhari held with Security Chiefs and some governors on Tuesday.
The Vice President was quoted on social media as allegedly saying, “I wasn’t informed of the meeting, when I heard, I was refused entrance. Yet, Governors were allowed to attend”
But reacting to the reports, Osinbajo said: “Misleading/FAKE news is on the rise especially in this season when Nigerians will make a choice about who will govern them for the next four years.
“I have not resigned! I remain committed to the service of the Nigerian people under the leadership of President Muhammadu Buhari,” he said in a video tweet he shared on his verified twitter handle @ProfOsinbajo.
Below are some of the reactions:
Osinbajo has been off the radar for a while now because he got a bashing from the Cabal. He felt humiliated and have decided to lay low for now. This is what my Aso Rock insiders told me!

Meanwhile, Osinbajo’s top aide confirmed “Oga came out of meeting today threatening to resign. They told him he cannot do that in the middle of election.” Folks, it is real. There is trouble. The cabal want Ossy out!

Too often, people underestimate Nigerians and their ability to smell odious buffoonery.

Man can on the basis of the happenstance today accurately predicts what will happen tomorrow. If VP Osinbajo was not allowed into a security meeting in the middle of a decisive election, you don’t need a futurologist or an Oracle

Tinubu in Aso Rock now over Osinbajo’s alleged resignation ?

Osinbajo is an adult. If he wants to resign he will but he will never.Who is he threatening?.He loves power.A man that wants to commit suicide will not go and buy poison and wait to collect change.?

THIS STORY IS GOING ROUND…. LET’S WAIT FOR FEBRUARY 23rd and see….✔✔
Osinbajo is threatening to resign because of the humiliation he faces every time from the two men running buhari’s government but they are seriously begging him now. pic.twitter.com/LIVHMymnEV— Olushola Olufolabi (@olushola_shola) February 21, 2019
The next level will be to stand by the doors of Aso Rock and keep watch like praetorian guards.
You don’t need HG Wells to tell you the future of the shape of things to come. That future is now: look at VP Osinbajo.
Let’s make Nigeria work again for all, regardless of tribe.— Great Oracle (@AbdulMahmud01) February 21, 2019
Lest we forget
Osinbajo has not yet given an objective account of the missing ₦5.8b belonging to NEMA that was under his care
Buhari has not yet said a single word on the $1.08b that was diverted from NLNG dividend

Believe it or not most of northern buharist dont agree that after Buhari power should move to SW, to them the north is majority and presidency should remain in the north, so i pity the yoruba guys that think Buhari will willingly handover power to Osinbajo or Tinubu

Dont mind the mumu people and their useless talk, look at Buhari Wonder in the South West, something Obasanjo , a Yoruba man could not achieve in eight years! As for me and my house it’s Buhari/Osinbajo till 2023. 4+4 is the mode, our PVC is our strength, God is our help… pic.twitter.com/5jeq0gJqrE

Prof. Osinbajo, you better resign now; this news better not be a rumor. Nigerians are fed up with your act of cowardice towards FG policies and order against the Christian community. Resign and Go back the Lord’s Vineyard, Ejor. @ProfOsinbajo
