Real Madrid Are Spanish La Liga Champions

Real Madrid have won the Spanish La Liga title after final-day 2-0 victory at Malaga.

Cristiano Ronaldo opened the scoring in the second minute to achieve a historic feat for Los Blancos.

The Portuguese latched onto Isco’s through ball to step around Carlos Kameni and tap into an empty net.

The goal means Zinedine Zidane’s side have now scored in every single match they have played in the league this season, which also extends a 64-game run across all competitions.

It is the first time in the club’s illustrious history Los Blancos have achieved the feat of finding the back of the net in all 38 contests during the season.

Karim Benzema added their second goal after the break to dent Barcelona’s hopes of a final day miracle.

Real only needed a point to clinch their first title in five years. They now face Juventus in the Champions League final looking to complete a double.

Zidane is now the first manager to lead Madrid to the Spanish league title since Jose Mourinho five years ago.

Barcelona defeated Eibar 4-2, to finish at 90 points this season, 3 behind Real.
