A team of journalists from select media houses across the country are in the state for a tour of projects started and completed by the Governor Abdullaziz Yari led- administration.

“Media reports on Killings in Zamfara does not correlate with what is on ground, Zamfara is relatively safe,” Dosara said.

Dosara’s statement comes days after armed bandits reportedly killed 27 people in the state.

As being the first of many states to be visited by the NUJ team, the commissioner for Information and Culture, Hon. Mohammed Sanda, who was also present at the meeting, commended Governor Yari for his transparent and efficient leadership.

According to him, the visit was timely as the state has been underreported especially in the face of unsubstantiated killings.
