Reps Laud NIRSAL’s Service Delivery, Agribusiness Transformation

The Public Accounts Committee of the House of Representatives has expressed satisfaction with the service delivery of the Nigeria Incentive Based Risk Sharing System for Agricultural Lending (NIRSAL).

The House committee specifically commended NIRSAL’s Managing Director, Aliyu Abdulhameed, for positioning the risk-management agency as a major driver of agribusiness development in the country.

NIRSAL received the commendation during an interactive session with the House committee at a recent event in Lagos.

The Chairman of the Committee, Oluwole Oke, expressed satisfaction with the performance of the NIRSAL boss while also assuring him of the National Assembly’s support.

Other committee members hailed Abdulhameed, while also congratulating NIRSAL for its commendable performance in terms of agribusiness financing.

The committee members noted that other agencies could learn from NIRSAL’s rigorous processes of due diligence.
