Reps Suspend Jibrin For One Full Legislative Year

Jibrin, former chairman, Reps Committee on Appropriation, was recommended for stiff sanctions by the Ossai Ossai-led Ethics and Privileges Committee.

In a committee of the whole, the Reps in a clause by clause consideration of the ethics report nailed him for one legislative calendar year.

Jibrin had declined appearing before the committee alleging bias by the chairman of the committee.
