‘Respect Yourself And Resign Now,’ Oyedepo Tells Buhari [VIDEO]

- Says Nigeria Will Never Become Fulani Republic

Bishop David Oyedepo, founder of Winners Chapel International, known otherwise as Living Faith Church Worldwide, has said “it is the most noble thing to do” for President Muhammadu Buhari to resign now.

Oyedepo made the call in the light of the widespread killings by the now dreaded Fulani headsmen across Nigerian states.

In a sermon titled “enough is enough” and which was posted on Living Faith Church’s official YouTube account, the revered bishop asked President Buhari to resign so as to allow someone else with the ability to end the killings take the baton.

Oyedepo said, “That is my word for Mr President, resign and get out of the place.

“Even our Islamic friends from Northern Nigeria are calling for him to resign; it is the most noble thing to do.

“Herdsmen don’t shoot and they have been with us all along,” he said. “But these group of people just take over the herdsmen to attack innocent citizens, wake up in the night and slice children to pieces and you have a government in place.

“Forever, I stand on the fact that no government has the authority to collect any land from those who own it and transfer it to another.

Calling for a seven-day prayer and fasting against the killings in the country, Oyedepo said: “We are not the only ones observing the prayer and fasting. It cuts across churches and we are praying the same thing.”
