Rev P. K Emeaba Bows Out From Active Ministry In Assemblies Of God

The Pioneer District Superintendent of Assemblies Of God Nigeria, Aba North District, Rev Prince Kalu Emeba on Saturday retired from active ministerial service of the Church.

Rev Emeaba, who served conscientiously and meritoriously in the ministry for over a decade opted for Voluntary Retirement early this year, he served as the Executive Committee Member Representing South East Zone 1 at the General Council from 2010 to December 2018.

Born in the small hinterland community of Amaeke Abam in Arochukwu Local Government Area of Abia State, Rev Emeaba received Jesus Christ as his Personal Lord and Savior in 1961 at the age of 9 through the Instrumentality of Assemblies Of God Nigeria Missionaries who came to Amaeke Abam for Church Planting.

In a Brief, Rev Emeaba narrated how God showed him Mercy this Year and divinely healed him without application of any medical substance.
He said he was happy and thankful to the Almighty God that he is retiring Stronger.

“What a Privilege to stay in the ministry to Retirement” He Said.

The service, which was officiated by the General Superintendent Of Assemblies Of God Nigeria Rev Dr Chidi Okoroafor, was attended by a host of active and retired ministers of the Church from across the country including the erstwhile General Superintendent Of Assemblies Of God Nigeria, Rev Dr Charles Osueke and Wife, General Treasurer Rev Dr Vincent Alaje and Wife Rev Mrs Julie Alaje, Executive Committee Members South East Zone 2 Rev Dr Abel Amadi and Wife, Directors of the General Council, District Superintendents among others.

In a sermon captioned: “The Role God plays in making Great Men” and reading from the Books of Ist Corinthians 3:10, Romans 9:15-16, Ephesians 4:11, the General Superintendent Of Assemblies Of God Nigeria, Rev Okoroafor said when someone becomes something, he erroneously thinks that it was as a Result of his Perfection, his Exposure, his Education not knowing that it was God’s plan.

“Everybody here is a Product of Grace

“There are people who went to School more than you did, but they don’t have the grace you carry

“You don’t get Grace through Education, God can raise a man without a degree above people with 30 degrees.

“We are not celebrating this man Emeaba because he went to School, we are celebrating him today because of the Grace he carries.

“From What I Know, from what you Know, from what everyone here knows, Rev P K Emeaba is Retiring as God’s Generals.

“This is not the end of his Ministry, this is the end of a phase and the Beginning of another phase,” Rev Okoroafor added.
