THE WHISTLER had reported the incident which occured on Tuesday at Mbodo Community, Aluu where the pastor and his late wife were involved in a disagreement which led to her death.

The pastor’s wife, who was the proprietor of a private school had expressed anger at her husband for driving away Pupils who were yet to pay their school fees without checking the record thereby sending away some of those who had paid.

Findings made by THE WHISTLER revealed that the disagreement resulted into a fight and claimed the life of the deceased.

Brother to the pastor, Mr. Philip Amadi, has however, denied that his brother could deliberately killed the wife, saying it must have been an accident which should be carefully looked into.

“I know my brother, he can never attempt such act. It’s possible they may have had a fight as couples but not to the point of him strangling his beloved wife. I understand his temperament and the level at which his anger can reach.

“The person in question is one man who preaches love and unity to his congregation which they can attest to or you can make your findings.

“We are yet to come to terms with the allegation against our brother as it is obvious the wife may have died accidentally. My brother can never kill his wife no.”

Efforts made so far by THE WHISTLER to speak with the pastor have proved abortive as the police have refused to grant access to him.
