Traditional rulers, elders and opinion leaders including youths and women of Idu-Obosiukwu in Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area of Rivers State are demanding that the Nigeria Agip Oil Company Limited vacate their land over alleged marginalization of the community.

The members of the community said they came to the resolution after reviewing series of “anti-people” activities of Agip since it began operations in the area fifty years ago.

This demand was made known to journalists during a peaceful protest at the gas flow station located in the community on Wednesday evening.
