Rohr Drops Lokosa, Three Others From Super Eagles W/Cup Squad

Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr has dropped four players from his World Cup-bound squad.

Rohr dropped the players before the scheduled meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday.

The players dropped from the team are Junior Lokosa who is the Nigerian Professional Football League top scorer with 18 goals, Bulgaria-based Stephen Eze, Standard Liege defender Uche Aggo and Plateau United goalkeeper, Dele Ajiboye.

The Nigerian team after the meeting with the President are expected to travel to England for another pre-World Cup friendly against the Three Lions at Wembley Stadium on Saturday.

Eagles will play a final pre-World Cup friendly against the Czech Republic at the Rudolf Tonn Stadium on 6 June.
