Saraki Attends PDP NEC Meeting Amid Jubilation (Video)

President of the Senate, Dr. Bukola Saraki, on Thursday attended the 81st National Executive Committee (NEC) Meeting of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Saraki upon his arrival at the PDP national secretariat was welcomed by the PDP National Chairman, Mr Uche Secondus, the Governor of Benue State, Dr. Samuel Ortom, the Governor of Sokoto State Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, Senator Dino Melaye and a host of many other defectors.

Recall that the Senate President had on Tuesday announced his defection from the ruling All Progressive Congress to the PDP.

Recall also that the Sokoto State governor announced his departure from the ruling party on Wednesday.

The meeting was put together by the national leadership of the party to welcome Saraki and other defectors from the APC.
