Saraki Hails Election Of 25-year-Old As PDP National Youth Leader

Former Senate President, Abubakar Bukola Saraki has hailed the election of a 25-year- old Muhammed Kadede Suleiman as the National Youth Leader of the People’s Democratic Party.

He was speaking when playing host to Mr Suleiman who was on a thank-you visit at his residence in Abuja.

The former governor of Kwara State who headed the PDP Reconciliation Committee and is eying the Presidency in 2023 expressed delight with the thank you visit.

Saraki told the new youth leader “to make the difference. You have to ask all the young people to support you.”

He told his visitor that he was representing a huge population imploring him “to ask the Nigerian youths to follow you. Because this is the party that has given the youths the opportunity” to have a say in governance.

He promised to provide the needed support whenever the need arises.

Earlier, Mr Suleiman expressed appreciation to Mr Saraki and all those who supported his emergence, promising to do his best to unify the youths across the country in support of the party.

The PDP held its National Convention during the weekend where the party elected Iyorchia Ayu as its National Chairman and 24 others into various National Working Committee positions.
