Saraki Reacts To Killing Of Corps Member By Police

Senate President, Bukola Saraki has reacted to the death of a corps member, Linda Angela Igwetu, who was murdered by an operative of SARS, identified as Benjamin Peters on Wednesday.

It was earlier reported by THE WHISTLER that Miss Igwetu, who was meant to pass out on Thursday, July 5th, was shot dead by a trigger-happy policeman in Abuja.

According to information posted by Sega L’eveilleur on Twitter, the late Igwetu was returning from where she went to celebrate her passing out with other colleagues when the policeman shot at their car and the deceased was hit.

Reacting to the painful exit of the beautiful lady, Saraki said Miss Igwetu deserved justice and it will be served.

He wrote, “Tonight, I spoke to Chinenye, Linda Igwetu’s sister. Such a tragedy.

“They deserve justice and I commit to doing my best to achieve this. May her soul rest in peace.”
