‘SARS Chasing Shadows, Main Yahoo Boys In Aso Rock’

More reactions have continued to trail the alleged “fake” Martin Luther King Junior Awards presented to President Muhammadu Buhari at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa in Abuja on Monday.

The reactions follow the denial by The King Center that neither it nor any member of the Martin Luther King and Coretta Scott King family issued an award to President Buhari.

The Presidency, it would be recalled, had tweeted on Monday that the president “received Martin Luther King Jnr’s family” who “conferred him with the 1st Black History Month National Black Excellence and Exceptional African Leadership Award 2018.”

But The King Center reacted in the negative on Wednesday. It tweeted: “The award given to President Buhari of Nigeria was not given by The King Center, at the request of The King Center or by the children of #MLK and #CorettaScottKing.”

Reacting to the denial, former President Goodluck Jonathan’s media aide, Reno Omokri, mocked President Buhari in a series of tweets.

Omokri said the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) is busy chasing shadows when the real “yahoo boys” “fraudsters” are allegedly in the presidential villa.
