According to the commission, its representatives and the Zamfara state government had arrived Jeddah with a documentary proof that the defendant was blackmailed by some persons who allegedly placed illicit drugs in his luggage

NIDCOM also said that it told the court that the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency had arrested three persons connected to the issue and that they have been charged at the Federal High Court in Kano.

These documents were provided to the Saudi Court after which they ruled in favor of Ibrahim and discharged him, NIDCOM tweeted.

On her part, NIDCOM Chairperson, Abike Dabire lauded the Saudi authorities and the delegation, adding that it was a job well done
