See Permutations For Buhari’s Successor In 2023

Barely 24 hours after President Muhammadu Buhari was returned to serve another four years in office following his victory in last Saturday’s presidential election, Nigerians are already weighing likely permutations to succeed the President in 2023.

President Buhari, who emerged victorious over his main challenger, Atiku Abubakr, in the February 23 presidential election, was issued a Certificate of Return by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) after polling 15.1 million votes to defeat Atiku who earned 11.2 million votes in the poll.

Even though Buhari has until 2023 before the expiration of his second term, Nigerians have taken to Twitter to weigh the likely and suitable combinations for presidential and vice president positions to succeed the President.

The Twitter users, who were reacting to a poll on the micro-blogging platform, considered the possibility of Osinbajo/Ribadu/Adamua, Amaechi/Amina Mohammed, Fashola/Nasir El-Rufai/, and Ngozi Okonjo Iweala/Abu Lolo (Abubakar Sani Bello) running as presidential and vice presidential candidates in the 2023 election.
