Senate Clerk, Durojaiye Is Dead

The acting clerk of the Nigerian Senate, Adedotun Durojaiye is dead.

According to The Nation, Durojaiye died on Sunday, November 8, 2015, after a prolonged illness.

Durojaiye was promoted as acting clerk of the senate in April 2014, he was in charge of the inauguration of the eighth senate and conducted the elections of principal officers during the June 9 election which led to the emergence of Senator Bukola Saraki as Senate President and Ike Ekweremadu as his deputy.
