Senate Concludes Screening Of Ministerial Nominees

The Nigerian senate has screened all 43 ministerial nominees of President Muhammadu Buhari.

The screening process which started last week Wednesday concluded today at about 1:50pm.

After the last nominee was screened today, Senate President, Ahmad Lawan put the confirmation of the nominees to a voice vote.

The Senators, in response, voted yes for all the nominees whose names were announced by Lawan.

THE WHISTLER had earlier reported that President Buhari will swear all 43 nominees in tomorrow at the Federal Executive Council (FEC), meeting.

It is also expected that they will be assigned their portfolios by the president during their inauguration into the FEC.
