Senate Grills Tanko For Confirmation As CJN
The Acting Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Justice Tanko Muhammad, is currently being screened by lawmakers at the National Assembly.
Last Thursday, President Muhammadu Buhari requested the confirmation of Muhammad as substantive Chief Justice of Nigeria.

Recall that Muhammad was first appointed in January after the president suspended the then Chief Justice Walter Onnoghen, who was accused of false declaration of asset.
