Speaking on Wednesday during the first Order of the Senate plenary on a motion on the need for patronization of made in Aba Goods in Nigeria, Senator Melaye while commending the sponsor of the motion, Senator Abaribe, for sponsoring the Motion, noted that some factors need to be considered before made-in-Nigeria campaign can be a success.
“Nigerian men prefer imported ladies to made-in-Nigeria women,” he said and urged his colleagues in the Senate to become ‘Born again’ by marrying made-in-Nigeria women.
They have been campaign by the National Assembly for patronage of indigenous goods given the dire economic situation.
