Shehu Sani Slams Buhari’s Govt For ‘Misinforming’ Nigerians

The Senator representing Kaduna Central, Shehu Sani, has slammed the President Muhammadu Buhari government for allegedly misleading Nigerians by making “false” claims on the economy.

Senator Sani, who used to be a member of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), accused officials of the current administration of “misinformation and falsification”

He accused the APC government of constantly making contrary claims on job creation against the reality of massive job losses as always seen in the figures released by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS).

“The recent figures on job loses coming from the NBS contradicts the claims consistently made by Govt officials on the surge in job creation or wealth creation. The reality now is that unemployment & poverty are on the rise. Enough of this disinformation and falsification,” the federal lawmaker said in a tweet.

He also said, “In the days of the locust,corruption was institutionalized and glorified,in the days of the termites,it’s crowned and canonized.”
