The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has finally vacated the residences of ex-Director-Generals of the Department of State Services (DSS) and the National Intelligence Agency (NIA).

Oke and Ekpeyong, who occupy house 11 and 46 respectively on the said street, had refused to honour separate invitations to appear at the head office of the EFCC.

The EFCC had invited Ekpeyong to answer questions on the N2 billion arms scandal involving Sambo Dasuki, former National Security Adviser (NSA), while Oke was summoned over the $43 million discovered in an apartment in Ikoyi, Lagos.

After declining their invitations, the anti-graft agency consequently stormed Mamman Nasir Street to arrest the duo when its officials clashed with men of the DSS.

Meanwhile, operatives of the DSS are currently said to be on standby even after the EFCC resigned from the street.
