Different social media posts across multiple platforms on Friday indicated that some Southeast residents complied with the recent sit-at-home order issued by the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
Some images posted by many residents of the region show that there were signs of compliance as business premises were closed and little or no the vehicular traffic was recorded on some busy roads.
The IPOB had earlier written to various unions and associations in the states, including local government council areas in the South-East, to shut down businesses and other activities on September 14.

All Biafran states have rejected Nigerian rule as they have picked IPOB, ipob is now a kind of government, believe me this is a good development. Leadership is not by weapons and military force, leadership is all about how people respect you and honor your words. pic.twitter.com/lNEBUMkjOb
