Southwest APC Leaders Reject Secession Agenda, Back Asaba Declaration

Leaders of the South West Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have cautioned those calling for the creation of an Oduduwa Republic to desist from such, as they say it can lead to Nigeria’s disintegration.

The leaders disclosed this in a meeting at the State House, Marina in Lagos.

While calling for establishment of state police, the leaders also threw their weight behind the Asaba Declaration by Southern Governors on ban of open grazing.

Those in attendance at the meeting are Femi Gbajabiamila, Speaker of the House of Representatives, Chief Bisi Akande, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, Aremo Segun Osoba Governor Gboyega Oyetola of Osun, Dapo Abiodun of Ogun state.
