The 2017-2019 Medium Term Expenditure Framework (MTEF) and Fiscal Strategy Paper (FSP) submitted to the Nigerian senate by President Muhammad Buhari has been described as “unrealistic, voodo-oriented”.
The MTEF, currently being debated on by the Senate, has seen majority of lawmakers pointing out the flaws in it already.
A senator representing the Lagos West Senatorial District,Solomon Adeola, went on to say that “The Economic Team of the President is in disarray”.
It would be recalled that the senate had, on Thursday, November 3, 2016, thrown out the MTEF and FSP for simply lacking the necessary details for their debate.
