2019: If You Need An Experienced Politician, I’m Here – Atiku

Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, has reaffirmed himself as the most qualified politician to liberate Nigerians from the sufferings allegedly inflicted on them by the “deceitful” government of President Muhammadu Buhari.

Describing the Buhari administration as a “government of liars”, Atiku said contrary to its promise to create three million jobs on a yearly basis, the reverse is the case as the current government has allegedly cost the citizens at least three million jobs on a yearly basis since assuming power in 2015.

He said, “This government is a government of liars,” adding that “They promised three million jobs per annum but Nigeria has been losing three million jobs every year. This job loss has brought the worst form of insecurity in the country.”

Atiku, who spoke during his visit to Enugu State on Thursday, added that: “We are facing challenging times in Nigeria. Today, the economy is at its lowest ebb and the greatest challenge is unemployment.”

The 2019 presidential aspirant said: “No other government has surpassed our (PDP’s) strides in governance. So, if you are looking for an experienced person, I am here; if you are looking for a politician that can create jobs and unite Nigeria, I am here,” adding that electorates must go out en masse to “vote and when you vote, stand to protect your votes.”

The former Vice President had declared his intention to run for president under the platform of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

He announced his intention shortly after defecting from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2017 to the opposition PDP.
