2019: Lamido, Stakeholders Meet In Jigawa

Though 2019 is still more than three years away, there are strong indications however that former governor of Jigawa State, Sule Lamido, is to meet with stakeholders of the state chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), on Tuesday in Kano.

A source, who is privy to the meeting, said Lamido will be using the meeting to review the state of the party ahead of the 2019 elections, as well as make his views known on Nigeria’s current political happenings.

The gathering will be the first time the ex-governor will be meeting with PDP stakeholders, since leaving office as governor on May 29.
