$29.9bn External Loan: Saraki, Buhari Meet Behind Closed Doors

President Muhammadu Buhari, on Wednesday, had a closed door meeting with President of the Nigerian Senate, Bukola Saraki, at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa.

Bukola, who declined to speak with State House correspondents, reportedly met with Buhari for less than an hour to discuss the president’s $29.9 billion loan request earlier rejected by the Nigerian Senate.

It would be recalled that Saraki and Buhari had last week Friday met over the said loan request which the former described as “a very important issue” which must not be politicized.
