The life of Nigerian celebrities seems not to be anything next to that of a saint.
Acting is usually something alluring, pleasing, flashy, glamorous and fast, but some veteran stars have put all these apart and have chosen to serve God by becoming ministers of God.

Here are a few Nollywood stars that have chosen the way of God:
Eucheria Anunobi
Veteran actress Eucharia Anunobi had earlier announced her repentance.
For years, we saw her take some pretty risqué and provocative roles in Nollywood movies.

She shocked everyone when she announced that she had given her life to Christ.
She was thereafter anointed at the Fresh Oil Ministry, Egbeda, Lagos as an evangelist by Pastor Psalm Okpe on February 5, 2012. and at a point, Anunobi started preaching as a pastor.
However, she has on Thursday revealed on her Instagram page that she had bagged a post-graduate diploma in pastoral and leadership course from the Redeemers International Leadership Academy.
Who knows if the actress is planning to start her own church?

Elizabeth Benson Ameye, popularly known as Liz Benson is a veteran Nollywood actress who utilised her talent to entertain us those days. Liz Benson stared in the popular television soap opera, Fortunes, in 1993.
She came into limelight by becoming one of the most popular actresses of that time.
She gave it up when she got ordained as an evangelist at the Rainbow Christian Assembly in Warri, Delta State.
She currently runs the church with her husband, Bishop Great Emeya, whom she married in 2009.
Patience Ozokwo
It is not clear if veteran actress, Patience Ozokwor aka Mama G has totally abandoned acting or she does both acting and evangelising simultaneously.

Since 2016, Ozokwo has been seen preaching the gospel to the people both on social media and in churches.
Earlier this year she was seen ministering at a church in Lagos.
According to Kemi Filani, she was ministering to a congregation at St. Peter’s Anglican Church, Alaba and she spoke about her life and her personal encounter with Jesus Christ.
Zack Orji
He reportedly got into the industry in 1991 and became the president of the Actors Guilt Nigerian (AGN) but made a big decision to absolutely devote his life to God. He was later ordained in 2012. He is now a full-time evangelist.
Okey Ogunjiofor
This Veteran Nollywood actor, whose real name is Anayo Modestus Onyekwere, excelled at ritualistic roles. However, things have changed since he became a minister. He has been spotted teaching the word of God at Christ Mission Worldwide Church, Egbeda in Lagos.
Charles Okafor
Charles Okafor who interpreted his roles as a pastor in the movie to perfection has also decided to try it out in a real life.
He, however, made come back to the industry where he starred in Stanlee Ohikhuare’s Idahusa Trials and also in Uche Jombo’s misplace.
He is now winning many souls for God.
