Adele Dominates The 2016 BRIT Awards

Multiple award winning singer Adele Laurie Blue Adkins, has once again been recognized for her exceptional acts.

The singer won four prizes including best British female solo artist and best album, at the BRIT Awards which was held at the O2 Arena in London on Wednesday Feb. 24.

The BRIT School for Performing Arts and Technology graduate, also received best British single and the Global Success award.

On receiving her first award she said: “To come back after so long away and be so warmly received means so much.”

She eloquent songwriter, stole the show when she broke down in tears as she accepted her third award of the night – the award for Global Success.

She admitted, “I got really lost for a while and I didn’t know I would come back.

“Not bad for a girl from Tottenham…. Who don’t like flying,” a statement which earned her huge cheers from the crowd.”

She thanked her fans too adding: “For people to be so kind to me is amazing, I was not expecting this one at all. Thank you so much. This is getting out of hand already.”

It is the second time Adele has taken home the prize, following on from her 2013 success when she took home the award for Skyfall.

Before the show, The Hello singer, was listed amongst an exciting roster of performers set to grace the stage, including Justin Bieber, Coldplay, Little Mix and more.

The 27-year old closed the show by performing When We Were Young.

There was also an emotional tribute to British singer, David Bowie who died of cancer last month.
