Alexis Sanchez Has ‘Mind Made Up’ Over Future At Arsenal

Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez’s “mind is made up” that he will leave the club this summer, according to the Mirror.
The Gunners have been attempting to renew the Chilean’s contract – which expires at the end of next season – for the last few months without success.

Chief football writer at the Mirror, John Cross, said: “I think Sanchez will go. His mind’s made up. I think there’s big clubs in for him – PSG, Juventus as well.”

Sanchez has appeared indispensable for Arsenal this season, scoring 17 Premier League goals in 25 games.

There have been rumours that he is unhappy with the disappointing performances of his teammates in recent weeks. Sanchez’s body language has often conveyed increasing frustration, and that has only served to heighten the speculation surrounding his future.

If Sanchez were to leave the club, it would be a big setback for Arsenal, such is the importance of the player in Arsene Wenger’s plans.

Cross added that playmaker Mesut Ozil, who has also yet to agree a new deal with the club, is more likely to stay.

“I do think Ozil is much more likely to stay and sign a new deal than Sanchez,” he said.

Metro have reported that Italian club AC Milan are amongst those preparing to lure Sanchez away from the Emirates. The Serie A giants have a budget believed to be around £110m to improve their squad in the summer, with Sanchez a potential prime target.
