Anambra PDP Reps Candidates Protest At INEC HQ

Some House of Representatives candidate of a faction of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Anambra state and their supporters, on Wednesday, staged a protest at the headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), in Abuja.
The aggrieved PDP members were protesting the continued delay of the commission to act on a judgment passed by the Supreme Court in respect of the rightful winners of the National Assembly seats in Anambra state in the 2015 general elections.
They accused the national electoral body of being bias in its way of handling the matter.

While chanting solidarity songs, the protesters displayed placards with inscriptions which called on INEC to issue certificates of return to the representatives in order for them to resume at the National Assembly.
