Another PDP Senator Joins APC

Senator representing Cross River Central John Enoh, on Tuesday joined the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC.

Mr. Enoh, who was of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, announced the defection during Senate plenary, citing personal reason.

Enoh, chairman, Senate finance committee, had last week complained of neglect by the PDP.

He joins Joshua Dariye, Plateau; Yele Omogunwa, Ondo; Nelson Effiong, Akwa Ibom; and Andy Uba, Anambra are the former PDP members, who moved to the APC.

With his defection, APC has 66 of the 109 members in the Senate, with Osun West and Anambra Central seats vacant due to the death of Isiaka Adeleke and the nullification of the election of Uche Ekwunife respectively. PDP’s number stands at 41.
