Apata Appointed New Solicitor-General Of The Federation

Dayo Apata has been appointed new Solicitor-General of the Federation.

Acting President Yemi Osinbajo approved Apata’s appointment on Friday.

According to his profile on the Ekiti State Government website, Apata served as legal adviser national planning ministry and has equally held several sensitive assignments including solicitor-general and permanent secretary of the ministry of justice in Ekiti between 2010 and 2014

He graduated from the University of Ibadan in 1984 where he studied Law and was called to Nigeria Bar in 1985.

Apata holds a Master in Public Administration.
