APC Offered Me Money, Cars To Fight Fayose – RTEAN Boss

The Ekiti State Chairman of Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria, Samuel Agbede, has accused the All Progressives Congress, APC of offering him bribe in form of money and luxurious cars, to work against the state governor, Ayodele Fayose.

Agbede, who spoke in an interview with newsmen during the inauguration of the first phase of the state RTEAN secretariat, said the opposition party also promised him political appointment if the association could frustrate the efforts of the governor.

According to him, his rejection of the party’s bribe, led the APC to sponsor some former members of the association to cause confusion in RTEAN.

“They offered me money, promises political position and luxury cars among other things. I rejected them,” he said.

“Their latest antics is that they gathered former members of the executives to be causing trouble within the association.

“I will never deviate. I’m working in line with the Constitution of RTEAN which says we should support the government of the day,” he said
