An All Progressives Congress (APC) Senator, Isah Misau, has wondered why President Muhammadu Buhari is allegedly seeking a second term in office when he has achieved nothing with his first term.
Misau, who represents Bauchi Central, slammed Buhari`s alleged re-election bid during a Senate committee meeting on Tuesday.
The Senator lamented that the president couldn’t be considering running for another tenure in office when “nothing is working in the country” under his administration.
“It is painful. We don’t have hospitals, we don’t have schools; nothing is working in the country and all of us are saying 2019.
“What is 2019? Are we sure we are going to reach 2019? It’s so bad. Things are happening.
“Leaders, you have to beg them before they go and see what is happening in places.
“Media have to make a lot of noise before leaders go there. What kind of a country is this?
“Today as a Senator, you get frustrated, talk less of somebody that has no job,” Misau was heard saying in a video.
