The Attorney General of the Federation (AGF) and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, has been summoned by the International Criminal Court Of Justice (ICC) over the clash that occurred between the Nigerian Army and Shi’ites members in Zaria last year.

Malami is expected to answer questions at the ICC pertaining to the role he played in the clash that claimed several lives of members of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN), otherwise known as Shi’ites.

It would be recalled that members of the IMN had, yesterday, staged a protest at the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) in Abuja.

The group claimed that over one hundred innocent citizens were, on Monday, killed in Kano state after men of the Nigeria Police allegedly opened fire on their members during a peaceful Shi’ites procession.
