The Federal Road Safety Commission, FRSC, says it is investigating two of its officials caught on camera assaulting a driver. A video which has gone viral on social media shows a female FRSC officer struggling with both the driver of a car and the passenger sitting next to the driver. Senate Gives Agencies One-Week To Submit 2017 Budgets

The Senate on Wednesday directed all agencies and of the Federal Government who are yet to submit their 2017 budgets for assessment and passage to do so. The upper legislative arm gave the affected agencies one week ultimatum to submit their budgets to the National Assembly for approval. The Debt Management Office (DMO) yesterday raised N106 billion through the Federal Government of Nigeria (FGN) Bonds. The funds raised will support the implementation of the Federal Government’s N7.44 trillion 2017 budget, which has an allocation of N2.36 trillion to capital expenditure.
