*Omagbemi’s Ladies To Face Cameroun On Saturday –

President Muhammadu Buhari has congratulated the Super Falcons, after Florence Omagbemi’s side made it to the final of the African Women’s Cup of Nations in Cameroon.

A powerful free kick in the 54th minute by Nigeria’s Desire Oparanozie separated the two sides as the Super Falcons ran away with victory over South Africa’s Bayana Bayana in the second semi-final of the 10th Africa Women Cup of Nations at Limbe Omnisports Stadium, on Tuesday night.

The Nigerian ladies will be looking to claim their 8th Africa Women Cup of Nations, when they face hosts Cameroon in the final on Saturday.

Cameroon defeated Ghana by a lone goal in the first semi-final match at the Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium in Yaounde on Tuesday.

While commending the Super Falcons, President Buhari said the entire country will be looking forward to the final against host nation, Cameroun, on Saturday.

“Our Super Falcons have made Nigeria proud again. The entire country looks forward to the #AWCON2016 Final on Saturday,” Buhari tweeted Tuesday night.

This is the 10th time Nigeria will make the final in 12 editions. The Super Falcons are targeting an astonishing 8th African title in Cameroon.
