Bakare, Mbaka’s Silence On Removal Of CRK From Schools Curriculum May Surprise Satan – Omokri

Reno Omokri

Former aide to Ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri has said that the silence of the senior pastor of the Latter Rain Assembly, Pastor Tunde Bakare and Catholic Priest and Director, Adoration Ministry, Enugu, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka on the removal of Christian Religious Knowledge, CRK, from public schools’ curriculum may surprise the devil.

Omokri, who argued that the duo were verbal during the administration of Goodluck Jonathan, said they have now lost their voices under President Muhammadu Buhari.

Recall that the social media has been agog with news that the CRK has been expunged from the curriculum, adding that it was a plan by the education minister, Adamu Adamu to foist the study of Islamic religious study as compulsory subject in public secondary schools.

But Omokri maintained that if the teaching of CRK must be stopped in schools, then the teaching of Islamic Religious Knowledge, IRK, must also go away from schools’ curriculum.

He said, “How Pastor Tunde Bakare and Reverend-Father Ejike Mbaka can keep quiet in the face of the removal of Christian Religious Knowledge from our public funded school curriculum may surprise even satan himself!

“These were people that would speak at the drop of a hat under Goodluck Jonathan but now appear to have lost their voice under their Messiah, Muhammadu Buhari.

“Tunde Bakare especially can now see that he may have not been wrong when he said… that “Let me tell you the truth by the spirit of God, neither OBJ, Atiku, IBB and this tall one, Buhari are part of the new. They are part of the old that is decaying. That old one is passing away. The new is emerging and these ones are not part of that new.

“Tunde Bakare can’t condemn the removal of CRK from our curriculum but can send coded messages to Professor Yemi Osinbajo about ‘next in line’ not being king!

“He accused Osinbajo of being a “showoff” in his “bid to register star performances and outdo their benefactors”. My response to Tunde Bakare is this: If Osinbajo’s show off is leading to the appreciation of the Naira, the reduction in the price of diesel, the availability of petrol and the prompt payment of salaries, then not only Osinbajo, but every elected politician should show off.

“By the way, Muhammadu Buhari ran with you and lost; then he ran with Osinbajo and won. Maybe if you had “shown off” you would not have lost the election for Buhari!”
On the takeover of telecommunication network Etisalat Nigeria by banks, Omokri said that those managing the telecommunication network worked with President Buhari and undermined the Goodluck Jonathan’s administration not knowing that they were destroying themselves.

“Those behind Etisalat Nigeria backed Muhammadu Buhari and publicly and privately undermined Goodluck Jonathan, thinking they were destroying GEJ. Today they find that it is themselves they destroyed! They thought that the man whose leadership made Nigeria the largest economy in Africa and the third fastest growing economy in the world was bad.

“They have now seen how good the man who threw our economy into recession has been to them. One by one, the evil that men do will live, not after them, but with them, whether or not they are short in size and live in Kaduna or not!”
