‘Is Biafra Now A Zoo?’ Keyamo Slams IPOB’s Sacking Of Kanu From Radio Biafra

Human rights activist, Festus Keyamo SAN, has strongly criticised the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) over the sack of its leader Nnamdi Kanu as the Director of Radio Biafra.

“Mazi Nnamdi Nwanekaenyi Kanu, the former Director of Radio Biafra is hereby dismissed and removed as Director of Radio Biafra following extensive and intensive consultations,” one Ifeoma Okorafor had said on Sunday, announcing “Mazi Ezenwachukwu Sampson Okwudili” as Kanu’s replacement on the London based radio station.

But reacting via his verified twitter account (FKeyamo), Keyamo suggested that IPOB was confused as it had conflicted itself by sacking Kanu whom it earlier claimed had been murdered by the Nigerian Army.

“So, after IPOB earlier claimed the Army killed Kanu, did they wake him from the grave to ask him questions over allegations against him before sacking him as their leader?

“Or did they sack him without hearing from him? Would that not be the style of animals in a zoo? Is Biafra now a zoo?” the Senior Advocate of Nigeria queried.
